Our client is looking for someone to join their team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role is a temporary position for 6-8 weeks. Responsibilities:Invoicing:Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients based on contractual agreements.Verify billing details and ensure compliance with established financial policies.Payment Processing:Receive and process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.Reconcile discrepancies between payments received and invoiced amounts.Client Communication:Maintain regular communication with clients regarding invoicing, outstanding balances, and payment-related inquiries.Address client inquiries and provide necessary documentation to support transactions.Record Keeping:Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.Ensure documentation is readily available for audit purposes.Credit Control:Monitor overdue accounts and implement appropriate collection strategies.Collaborate with internal teams to address any disputes or discrepancies.Reporting:Generate and analyze regular reports on accounts receivable status.Provide insights into cash flow forecasts based on outstanding receivables.Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement within the accounts receivable function.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency-enhancing measures.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
